Upper Michigan Newspaper, Petoskey News Review Endorses Jason Allen

“Allen clearly stands out as the best candidate to represent the Republican Party”


Traverse City, MI – The Jason Allen for Congress campaign announced today the endorsement of the Petoskey News Review in Michigan’s 1 st District Republican Primary. In addition, the Detroit News cited Allen’s problem solving, his commitment to fiscal principles and past experience as a “champion of veterans” as the reason for their endorsement just last week.

The endorsement stated, “For residents of Northern Michigan, Allen clearly stands out as the best candidate to represent the Republican Party moving ahead to the general election. Allen knows the region and will reliably represent the residents in Emmet and Charlevoix counties.”

Allen is currently the Vice-President of Captain’s Quarters, a clothing store in Traverse City, Michigan and a veteran who is committed to be the conservative voice for Upper Michigan.

Jason Allen lives in Traverse City and has been married to his wife Suzanne for 24 years. They have three children. Allen attended Northwestern Michigan College and then transferred to Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, earning a Bachelor’s degree in finance.
